At first, the world was shocked when it saw Eminem had grown a beard and now Dwayne Johnson is trying to do the same thing. Nonetheless, the situation is not the same. Eminem had disappeared from the internet for some time before showing his beard whereas people have been watching The Rock’s beard transformation all along. That doesn’t mean, however, that people are used to it yet.
The former wrestler is one of the biggest Hollywood stars to date and one of the world’s best-paid actors. He has participated in various huge films such as the Fast and Furious franchise and San Andreas. 2017 has been a great year for The Rock so far, shooting for The Fate of the Furious, Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon.
Apart from his acting career, he is quite active on his social media accounts, especially his Instagram profile in which he has a whopping 91 million following. He keeps his fans updated with numerous posts concerning his life including behind the scenes, the everyday life of the star, and a recent tattoo transformation.
Evolution of the bull. Blood, sweat & years. After 3 sessions and 22hrs of tattooing with world renowned @NikkoHurtado, the story’s almost done.. Every detail is a reflection of my own personal history. From the cracks and heavy damage in the bone representing life’s hard lessons I’ve learned over the years. Just like scars and wrinkles – I’m so grateful to have ’em because they’re earned. To the horns, not pointing up or out to the side, but pointing straight ahead representing relentless energy and forward progress. The core and anchor of this image is in the eye. Look closely and you’ll find the life, energy, power and you’ll feel the MANA (spirit). The eye tells the story of a disruptive positive energy always ready to dent the universe. Depending on the light and angle, sometimes the energy’s subtle and sometimes it’s glaring. But it’s always alive and ready to disrupt the universe and love and protect my family and all things I love with intense passion and gratitude. Cheers to living, learning, evolving and growing. And to the positive disrupters ready to dent the universe. #EvolutionOfTheBull #TheDisrupter #TheMana #NowLetsBreakOutTheTequila
Tattoos are cool but what surprised most of Dwayne Johnson’s fans is the beard he had been growing over the past few weeks. One of the most recent videos posted on his profile depicts The Rock in an apartment in Vancouver, Canada in which he describes his journey in the Canadian Football team. Apart from his advice to the audience, people paid attention to Johnson’s ‘salt & pepper’ beard.
Sometimes the goal we’ve worked our ass off for years is never achieved. Then years later we look back and realize, it’s the best thing that NEVER happened.
There could be several reasons why The Rock decided to go for this look. The first one could be the fact that he just wanted to change his appearance, which is reasonable. However, one other possible explanation would be that he could be using the beard in on of his upcoming movies such as Fighting with My Family and Rampage. And finally, if you don’t know already, Dwayne Johnson might be running for president in 2020. The beard certainly gives him a more presidential look. To me, he looks more like Will Smith when he looked like Uncle Phil.
In one of his recent posts, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson announced that HBO had picked up the Season 4 of Ballers. In the same post, he congratulated Issa Rae and the cast of Insecure for getting picked up by HBO as well for the 3rd Season of their show.

No matter what he is trying to achieve, The Rock will always look awesome although it would be great to see what he’s been preparing.
