Bethesda announced at QuakeCon yesterday that the open beta for the upcoming card game has officially begun; The Elder Scrolls: Legends previously entered into a closed beta stage earlier this year.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a free-to-play card game set in the Elder Scrolls universe and features each of the races in the games; Bethesda intends to release the card game on multiple platforms however they are not currently looking at a console release.
PC players will be able to try the game by downloading the official Bethesda client, Bethesda.net. It features an extensive story mode which includes moral choices, selecting a moral choice will rewards the player with a specific card. The card game itself is tactical and stands out from the biggest online card games currently available with it’s unique lane game mechanic.
New players can find a range of articles and guides on the official website that are designed to help less experienced players as they learn how to play the game; there is also a multiplayer option where players can battle each other and the tips provided also help with this.
The open beta is limited to Windows PC however, Bethesda intends to release the game for Mac computers and also iOS and Android devices.
