A family from Virginia had went out for their day to day work and on their return home, they saw the walls and the floor of their house stained with blood. The blood was all over the place and after some looking around it turned out that their German Shepherd had attacked an intruder who reportedly tried to sneak into their house.

If the intruder had a slight idea of what was waiting for him in that house, he would never have even dreamed about entering this house.

When Tristan Murrin and his mother first arrived, they felt nothing out of the ordinary but as soon as they saw their dog welcoming them at the front door, they could smell something fishy.

As Tristan entered inside, he immediately saw the blood drops all over the first floor and upon reaching upstairs he had a glimpse of the most dreadful horror film he had ever seen.

Tristan James Murrin told KTLA that he was feeling something wrong from the start when the German Shepherd, named Oden, greeted him at the front door. “We noticed something when we walked in, when I walked in with my mother and there is blood spots on the ground,”.

“We looked upstairs and you could see trails of blood coming from upstairs, going all the way down”.

According to Tristan there was huge amount of blood spilled all over the walls and he also narrated that the intruder had neither stolen anything nor was there any sign of the intruder himself when he and his mother reached home.

It is noteworthy that within the past few weeks there had been some robbery incidents in the neighborhood but it was only this time that a robber had to run his life.

Reportedly there was blood all over the house on both the floor as well as a trail of blood on the stairs. The doors of second floor were also stained with blood and the bloody prints of intruder’s hands were visible on the doors of the second floor while he had tried to escape. Murrin could also see pool of blood on the front stairs on the second floor of the house.

Tristan also narrated that although his German Shepherd namely Oden was a big dog but he had never shown so much aggression before and even used to play with the kids in the neighborhood.

“He plays with the kids, the cul-de-sac knows him,”.

“The community loves him, the kids come up to him and want to touch him and play with him.”

Murrin said that he is very proud of his dog, and regards him as his best friend who saved his home from a robbery.

“I think the dog did its job,” he said.

“He knew that someone was not supposed to be in my house and no one was home and he knows that [the intruder] wasn’t supposed to be in there and was doing something that he wasn’t supposed to be doing.
“And so he knew to act upon it.”

Tristan and his family is seeking help from others in order to find that intruder, as they could see that this intruder must have been in need of serious medical attention. Tristan has also posted those gruesome scenes on Facebook in order to reach out to the people and these scenes have so far crossed 16 million views.

The message about this incident was published by Murrin on Facebook along with the photos and the message stated “Last night we had a break in, luckily no one was home. My best friend Oden who is a German shepherd, protected my home and belongings when I wasn’t there, I couldn’t be more proud of him. Such an amazing breed that’s why everyone who doesn’t have an actual dog should consider on adopting or buying a dog”.

In the video clip that Murrin has posted on Facebook he can be heard saying “Whoever came to my house,” he adds during the video, “You deserve this s**t. You don’t f**k with me and my dog bro… That’s what happens. German shepherds are the best dog you could have.” Murrin’s videos have been shared all over the globe over 100 thousand times since they were posted on August 11th.

Murrin has also posted images of his German shepherd on Facebook giving him a heroic tribute. As Murrin can be heard being filled with a mixture of sentiments about the incident which took place at his house.

The most prominent feeling that could be noted from Murrin’s behaviour was his pride and honour for the heroic canine. The police have already investigated the scene but so far there has been no progress in arresting the culprits.
