Hideo Kojima shared an important update about Death Stranding today and it was regarding whether it’ll be making an appearance at this year’s E3 show.
Fans who were looking forward to seeing more of the game being revealed at the biggest gaming event of year are to be left dejected as the creator himself confirmed that the game won’t be making an appearance at the event.
Kojima was visibly apologetic about the news that he shared via a Tweet going as far as apologizing to fans:
Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14! pic.twitter.com/w9JfmEOqF4

He did confirm he’ll be doing an interview with Geoff Kneighly on June 14th and there’s still hope he’ll be revealing more information about his upcoming PS4 exclusive.
However, if you were expecting the game to make a stellar appearance during Sony’s E3 press conference, it’s not happening.
Kojima also posted a mysterious image alongside this announcement that has the text “BRIDGES” written on it.
