The future of the highly anticipated Persona 5 in Europe has been very uncertain but Deep Silver has finally announced a release date for the Japanese RPG.

Persona 5 will be released in Europe and North America on the same date: February 14th 2017

The game will be released for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 however they will be priced differently; the PS4 version is slightly most expensive at £55 while the PS3 version only costs £40.

The company also confirmed that Europe will also be receiving the Premium version and also the special SteelBook launch edition case; this news has collectors excited for a good reason, the Premium “Take Your Heart” version contains a nice number of quality merchandise for the series.

Take Your Heart edition will cost £80 and includes a SteelBook case, a Soundtrack CD, Persona 5 hardcover art book, exclusive school bag, a Morgana Plush and a special outer box which collectors will love to have. Sadly, this version of the game is only available for the PS4 and the SteelBook launch edition case is also limited to the PS4.

PlayStation 3 gamers will only have the standard version of the game which is bad news for collectors on that platform.

Excited players from Europe and NA will need to wait until 2017 before they can play the game; Japanese players will be getting the game this September instead.
