According to the Korean gaming site iNews24 Blizzard may work on an HD version of the original StarCraft game. According to rumors, the remaster is announced next month,
followed by an extensive unveiling at the BlizzCon event in November.
The Korean website reported to have heard from multiple sources that Starcraft HD is in the making. The remaster must contain the same gameplay as the original but at a
much higher resolution with improved menus.
iNews 24 reports that Starcraft HD will be announced next month during the StarCraft 2 world championships. Blizzard frequently uses the championships to announce company
gaming news. Last year, the developer announced a release date for the Legacy of the Void expansion for StarCraft 2 during the event. Besides the release date Blizzard also
showed a trailer of the expansion set.
