You might have traveled in numerous roads including some creepy ones in your life but this road in Sydney is a must go if you are interested in getting some first hand supernatural experience.
The most haunted road of Sydney is reported to be Wakehurst Parkway because it gets real creepy after dark. The particular part of the road which connects Narrabeen and Seaforth including Deep Creek Reserve is spine chilling. That particular part is known for some infamous murders and body dumpings.
Daily Telegraph reports that several travelers have experienced some supernatural behaviors like radio turning on by themselves, doors locking by themselves, windscreen wipes malfunctioning etc. In that part of the road, some people even mentioned that they had spotted a green man who disappears instantly at pedestrian crossings at 3 am.
People believe that there are actually two ghosts in that road – one of an young girl named Kelly who died in the 70s and the other of a nun who died in the 60s. The legend says that you must call Kelly to ‘get out’ of the car or else she will take you out of the road.
Mary Loughland, a psychic medium has claimed that she had seen Kelly several times on that road.
She explained: “The first time I took the road was about six years ago. It was about 2am, and I had the feeling of someone touching the back of my neck. It felt like a cool hand would on a cold day.
“She is like a white, veiled apparition of a girl in the back seat.
“I usually see her when I go past the C3 Church at Oxford Falls. Other times there’ll be a buzz on the radio or the car doors will lock when I go down the road.
She even said that her daughter had seen Kelly and the nun too.
“My daughter Ellie used to drive down the road on her way back from work at Chatswood RSL. She has seen Kelly as well as an older woman in her car, who could be the nun.”
She also explained why Kelly is haunting that road.
“Most hauntings are in places where there has been tragedy. I feel Kelly is either lost or has a message to deliver. She is not an evil presence, but one that’s traumatised. She is saying, ‘I need a lift out of here’,” she explained.
“Maybe she was trapped in the back seat when she died or was hitchhiking, and that’s why she wants to get into people’s cars.”
Well time for a road trip right?
